It's amazing how simple arrangements can be and still sound impressive. This arrangement of "What Child Is This" (Greensleeves) is such the case. Any self respecting trumpet player should be able to play this arrangement the first time. And still, when put with the other parts, it hangs well on any program. Even the piano part is easy. I wrote this to be played with three trumpets and piano but if a piano is not available, it sounds great with just the three trumpets. Each player has an equal amount of solo work with ample amounts of resting.
