This is one of the best arrangement I can remember for demonstrating antiphonal writing from the Baroque Period. Originally this was composed for two mandolins and bass (cello) but by separating the two parts and sharing the work load among four trumpets, it became a very usable arrangement for a trumpet ensemble.
