Ensemble difficulty- 1
Yesterday a good friend requested that I write a simple duet which he and his young son could play together. He, being his son's little league's baseball coach, suggested "Take Me Out To The Ball Game". After a short time thinking about the tune, a thought came to me for this easy duet. The second part makes use of two note patterns, giving ample time for the younger player time to get set for his/her next entrance. The range is easy as is the counting. The introduction was interesting enough to be player twice and the ending finishes the number well. If you are in need of a simple, yet interesting number for your student or child, I hope this works for you.
