With all these “stay at home” orders we are now faced with, I thought it was time to offer material which would be helpful as well as fun to work on. The “Practice at home Special” was something I thought of this morning and you might find this helpful with the continuation of the quarantine orders. Now that we are more isolated in our homes, there is no reason we can’t improve our playing as well as fulfill our needs to play some enjoyable music.
The “Practice at home Special” works this way. I will be posting a series of duets which will include a score, individual parts as well as recordings making it possible to play duets by yourself. It follows the old Play Along concept. You will receive the score, parts and two recordings, one at a practice speed and a final performance tempo. Each part is recorded on opposite channels so you can bring up the second part when you are playing the first part and adjust the channels when you are playing the second part.
