This is the seventy-second in a series of arrangements composed/arr./trans. for use in Solo/Ensemble contests and will help fill the need for new material for competing middle school and high school players. Each of these ensembles are selected to show the very best qualities of your ensemble and through careful editing, each has a professional sound with only an average playing ability.
Sometimes I just get the urge to do something in a Latin style and this one came to mind one day.
It actually has three sections and in the middle, it features a freely interpreted trumpet solo with backgrounds in the other two parts.
Tempi changes may be the only thing that may need to be rehearsed and this would be an outstanding number at contest or on a home concert; or your neighborhood barbecue.
