This composition was written to commemorate the devastating affect Hurricane Ian had on the lives in Florida and South Carolina.

The first movement represents the realization that Florida was to be affected. The second movement begins with the musically implied rainfall, followed by the tremendous surge of the ocean's waves coming ashore on Fort Myers Beach and the last movement represents the final realization of the storms power as residents begin to view the final destruction. The transition from Minor mode to the final Major mode in the last movement represents the positive nature of the survivors.
