My first 20 Easy Trumpet Duets was so popular that I have added a second collection- 20 Easy Trumpet Duets Book #2. This collection is an extension of the first book and begins where the first ended, i.e. the duets are only slightly more difficult to perform. I have included three examples which illustrate the easier and the more advanced duets in this second collection.

As in the first collection, I have tried to update the older, more familiar songs to make them more interesting and fun to play. I have also continued the option of having the student fill in the title as I had in book #1. Additionally I have added a short easy warm-up which will help the student not only to warm up, but also help the student check his/her intonation.

I have included more introductions as well as tag endings to make these duets interesting enough to perform on a student’s first recital. Whether you are looking for a collection of duets for your beginning student or sight reading material for a more advanced player, these two collections will fill your need.

Book #2 includes the following-Dixie, Red River Valley, Wildwood Flower, My Bonnie, The Can Can, Home Sweet Home, When The Saint Go Marching In, Deep River, He’s Got The Whole World In His Hand, Nearer My God To Thee, Give Me That Old Time Religion, Go Tell It On The Mountain, Rock Of Ages, Song Of Joy, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, Jingle Bells, Silent Night, O Come, All Ye Faithful, Good King Wenceslas, We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
