This is a very advanced rendition of this well known carol. Each player has an independent part and must count. There is more counterpoint in this number than most. The Organ has more of a supporting roll than most arrangements. This gives the brass a chance to shine. The middle section is very interesting as I cut the organ down to two parts in order to let the soft brass come through. Then the piece builds to a full climax at the end. Your congregation will be talking about this arrangement for a long time and your brass players will be requesting to play it often. This is one of those arrangements that brass players live for.
