This is another national anthem and is called by the Canadians “O Canada” It is a lovely anthem and the reason I decided to add a few parts (twice as many as usual) was to make the simple, soft beginning contrast to a more powerful ending. Each part is written in a melodic fashion and because of better melodic lines, each part tends to cross over and under its neighbor. The first, second, third and forth parts play throughout but the others come in at staggered intervals. This is a versatile arrangement and can be performed by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 players. No matter how many players you have, it will sound good. Just keep adding players from the top down.
