Nothing is more regal than a great Handel number and this is one to program. It was originally written as a soprano and alto duet with organ and works very well for two trumpets as you can hear. Handel was the master of counterpoint and the range, phrasing and melodic lines work to produce a perfect trumpet duet. It is in three continuous movements but could, and should, be separated for embouchure sake.
Purchase this great work and you will receive the organ part, the score in concert pitch as well as a set of Trumpets 1 and 2 for C trumpets AND Trumpets 1 & 2 for Bb trumpets.
